<p>PURPOSE:To prevent equipment such as a connected relay from being broken without generating any high voltage on an optical submarine cable through mutual inducing operation by winding the optical submarine cable into a coil and arranging conductive plates among plural laminated layers. CONSTITUTION:The optical submarine cable 6 to which the optical submarine relay 14 is connected is stored in a cable tank 8 while wound in the coiled shape, and the flat conductive plates 10 are arranged among the laminated layers. The conductive plates 10 are connected to one another and also grounded so as to prevent electrostatic charging from being caused owing to the electrostatic capacity between the conductor plates 10 and optical submarine cable 6. Further, the conductive plates 10 can be divided into sectorial parts and provided so as to improve the operability of leading-out operation for the optical submarine cable 6 from the cable tank 8 when it is stored in the cable tank 8 and laid. Consequently, the generation of induced electromotive force due to inductance can be minimized, and the equipment such as the relay connected to the optical submarine cable 6 can be protected.</p> |
