PURPOSE:To prevent a slice surface from shifting in position and deviating in angle through easy operation by using parameters of a slide surface which is set newly according to an image obtained by adding sample images in plural different time phases for tomographic image formation. CONSTITUTION:A radiation camera is rotated around a person to be examined, and data gathered by a data gathering device 1 are projected reversely by a reverse projecting device 2 to reconstitute a body axial cross-section tomographic image. Then data at the time of loading are stored in an image memory 3 and data at the time of redistribution are stored in an image memory 4; and respective sample images are added by an image adder 7 and displayed on a display device 8. Respective parameters of the new slice surface such as an angle, a position, and a range are set by a coordinate input device 9 according to the image obtained by adding the images of those two time phases are set to generate a cardiac muscle long-axis surface vertical tomographic image, a short-axis tomographic image, a long-axis surface horizontal tomographic image, etc. Consequently, the operation is facilitated and the slice surface neither shifts in position nor deviates in angle.
