<p>A work clamping apparatus for a lateral type machining center, wherein a plurality of center spacer blocks (2) and a plurality of lateral positioning blocks (3) are provided which are piled up alternately in the vertical direction on a base member (1) mounted on a table of a lateral type machining center detachably, a center part (6) whose plan shape is the same as that of the center spacer block (2) and at least a pair of positioning arm (7) parts symmetrically extended from this center part are installed in the lateral positioning block (3), a replaceable spacer (18) is positioned by a positioning means (19) and then fixed to the top surface of each positioning arm part (7) detachably, and clamping apparatuses (15) having an oil pressure cylinder (13) and a clamp head (15) driven downward by this cylinder are installed on the bottom side of each positioning arm part (7), and thereby works between the positioning arm parts corresponding to one another in the vertical direction can be fixed.</p> |
