PURPOSE:To improve product yield by lining up a pipe manufacturing devices straightly, by introducing a rotary-die-type straightening machine into a manufacturing installation of welded steel pipe. CONSTITUTION:A new rotary-die-type straightening machine, rotated by bringing a die into contact with the outer surface of a long sized pipe material, is introduced into a pipe manufacturing installation. Respective devices, such as a forming device A, a welding device B, a bead removing one B', a sizing one C, an inline annealing one Fa, a rotary-die-type straightening one Ha, and a std.-size one-end cutting device Ia, are connected directly in seris to form a straightly lined up installation, in a word, a tandem installation. |
