PURPOSE:To give flexibility to a foamed plate without impairing waterproofness and heat insulating property by a structure wherein the greater part of cells arranging along the surface of a styrene-based resin foamed plate consisting of non- interconnecting cells are closed and expanded by rounding out in the direction of the skin and in the direction normal to the skin and the cell is made so as to have specified size and shape. CONSTITUTION:In a styrene-based resin foamed plate consisting of non-interconnecting cells, the length of the cell in the direction normal to the skin is 1/4 the length of the cell in the direction of the skin or longer. The cell wall constituting the skin at every cell rises convexly, and the height of rising reaches 1/6 the length of the cell in the direction normal to the skin or longer and, further, the interior of the plate consists of layers of a cell having wrinkles therein. The cell 14 constituting the skin 11 is expanded so as to be rounded in the direction indicated with the arrow (b). The length of the cell 14 in the direction (b) is 1/4 the length of the cell in the direction (a) or longer. The cell wall of the cell 14 rises convexly and the height of rising is 1/6 the length of the cell in the direction indicated with the arrow (b) or longer. On the skin 11 represented in a cross section 12, the length (z) of the foot is 1/6 the length (x) of the cell 14 in the direction (b) or longer. |
