PURPOSE:To improve the antivibration property in the lateral direction by furnishing rib projections on the active substance surface at the outer side of both end plates of an electrode plate group, and making the size between the tops of projections of the projectionform plate composed on the both end plates of the plate group larger than the size between ribs furnished on an electrolyte jar intermediate partition. CONSTITUTION:The embossments of embossed rib projections 8 can be formed easily by filling a paste on a grid body, and then excuting a roll pressing with a belt furnished with the form of the embossment beforehand. They are formed on the surface of the electrode plate active substance, and the embossed rib projections 8 incorporated as the both end plates of the electrode plate group are set beforehand not to be superposed on an electrolyte jar intermediate partition 9. And the horizontal pitch size of the embossed ribs 8 is made larger that the thickness size of the partition ribs 10. Consequently, a high quality storage cell of a low cost and a high antivibration property can be produced without using an expensive part such as a separator with glass mat or a spacer. |
