PURPOSE:To obtain perovskite type oxide superconducting tape usable particularly at the b.p. of liquid N2 by extruding a melted product of an oxide high temp. superconducting material on a rotary roll and forming tape by cooling quickly at the same time, then heat-treating the tape in oxidizing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A melted raw material having a desired compsn., for example, 1:2:3 Y:Ba:Cu, is weighed and poured into a heat-resistant crucible B provided with a small nozzle 14, and melted by heating in a high frequency induction furnace, etc. Then, the melted raw material 11 is ejected from a nozzle 14 at a tip end of the crucible 13 by applying a pressure on a metallic roll 12 revolving at high speed, to cool the ejected product and forming at the same time Y-Ba-Cu tape. Then, the tape is heat-treated at 850-1,000 deg.C in oxidizing atmosphere. By this process, a superconducting tape, of YBa3Cu3O9-s, etc. is obtd. |
