PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorant dentifrice capable of sufficiently exhibiting function in prevention of halitosis and sterilization in the mouth, by blending montmorillonite and papain with a toothpaste or tooth powder. CONSTITUTION:A deodorant dentifrice obtained by blending montmorillonite, having adsorptivity of odor several times as much as that of active carbon, positively adsorbing foul breath and exhibiting powerful deodorant action and papain capable of hydrolyzing proteins and simultaneously showing also sterilizing action with a tooth paste or tooth powder. The amounts of both blended ingredients are, e.g. about 20vol.% blended powder of 90vol.% montmorillonite with 10vol.% papain. |
