PURPOSE:To exchange color of an ink ribbon at high speed, by providing a mechanism in which the ink ribbon is wound in a dot line direction of a printing head and a mechanism in which a specified color of the ink ribbon is set at a position of the dot line of the printing head. CONSTITUTION:When an actuator 20 moves a bar by a specified length, the bar 19 is connected to an ink ribbon holding part 9, and a ribbon guide 3 and a ribbon 4 are moved to a position where a specified color is set. Hinges 7, 8 and the ink ribbon holding part 6 move by motion almost near parallel conforming to the motion of the holding part 9. At a part 4 where any one of ink lines 24-30 of a ribbon of a specified color comes in front of a dot line of a printing head 5, the ink ribbon 2 is struck by a head pin of the dot which outputs in said color, and a dot of the specified color is transferred to a paper 37. The ink ribbon 2 is wound with a cassette 1, a new ink ribbon is located at a part 4 in front of the printing head 5, and above-mentioned motion is repeated. |
