<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the misalignment of a display position in a display device, by disregarding the detection of a position coordinate, in case when an input pen has been pressed lightly against a tablet, at the time of detecting the position coordinate of the input pen, based on a current for flowing through the tablet of a constant-current type, and displaying it on the display device. CONSTITUTION:When an input pen 6 has been pressed lightly against a tablet 1, the current quantity for flowing out of the tablet 1 decreases due to an increase of a contact resistance of a contact part, and position coordinates X, Y of the input pen 6, which have been derived by a calculation become values misaligned from actual position coordinates, and a display position on a display position 16 is also misaligned. Accordingly, in case when the decrease of the current for flowing out of the tablet 1 is detected by comparing circuits 11, 12, and it is detected that the current has dropped, the detection of the position coordinate of the input pen 6 at that time is disregarded. In such a way, it is prevented that the position of the input pen 6 is displayed at a misaligned position.</p> |
