PURPOSE: To attain various automatic accompaniment corresponding to a player' s image or the like by controlling the tone of an accompaniment sound in accordance with a tempo signal speed control state controlled by a tempo speed control means. CONSTITUTION: An operation part 6 is constituted of a rhythm selecting switch 7 for selecting rhythm, a switch group 8 to be used for other operation and an UP switch 9a and a DOWN switch 9b which are tempo speed control means. When the UP switch 9a is depressed, the contents of a register TEMPO are decremented by one level. The tone of an accompaniment sound is controlled in accordance with a tempo signal speed control stare controlled by the means 9a, 9b. When the tempo of music is changed, the tone of its accompaniment sound is changed, so that various performance corresponding to a program image can be executed. |
