PURPOSE: To obtain an accompaniment effect reflecting an instrument formation scale by providing the automatic accompaniment device with an instrument formation selecting means and making it possible to access the contents of accompaniment corresponding to required instrument formation by one operation. CONSTITUTION: Various operators for musical sound control and playing control and a display device related to the operators are arranged on a control panel 14 and rhythm selecting switches 40 respectively corresponding to rhythm names such as march, waltz and samba, a formation selecting switch 42L for selecting instrument formation in the increasing direction of its scale, a formation selecting switch 42S for selecting the instrument formation in the reducing direction of the scale, a formation number display device 44 for displaying a formation number corresponding to the selected instrument formation, a start/ stop switch 46 for controlling the start/stop of autorhythm, and a switch 48 such as a tempo setting switch are also arranged on the panel 14. When optional instrument formation is selected by the selecting means, an accompaniment sound signal can be generated by the number of sounds/tone corresponding to the contents of the instrument formation. |
