<p>PURPOSE:To remove the dust and weld burr on the recess face of a recessed platen and a shadow mask face and prevent the deformation of electron beam permeating holes of the shadow mask by providing opening sections connected to a suction device through a suction hole on the recessed platen. CONSTITUTION:Multiple opening sections 3 are formed on the recess face of a recessed platen 1, a suction port 2 connected to a suction device via a suction pipe 4 is provided, and the ail near the recess face of the recessed platen 1 is sucked through the suction port 2 from the opening sections 3. The space between the recess face of the recessed platen 1 and a shadow mask 5 is made the negative pressure because the air is sucked, the shadow mask 5 supported only by a frame 6 and the friction force is sucked to the recess face of the recessed platen 1 and stuck and fixed to the whole recess face. The dust and weld burr or the like on the recess face of the recessed platen 1 are sucked and removed through the suction port at this time. The dust and weld burr on the recessed platen are thereby removed easily, and the deformation of electron beam permeating holes of the shadow mask is prevented.</p> |
