PURPOSE:To enhance the cost-down of a system and the improvement of a processing speed by holding various information concerning a recording medium in an image forming device and an image processor in common. CONSTITUTION:An image forming system consisting of the image processor 100 and the image forming device 110 provides an information conversion means for obtaining the identification information of the recording medium from a recording medium supply part and converting the identification information into the information concerning the dimension and the shape of the recording medium and a means for informing the information converted by the said means to the image processor 100. Thus, the memory (ROM) in the image processor 100 is made needless and the cost-down and the improvement of the processing speed can be enhanced. |
