Support and lifting mechanism 1, Fig 1, concerns an arrangement whereby a container 2, preferably one placed on a cleaning machine such as used for leaf collection, street sweeping, etc., by means of movement of two parallel, double-acting power cylinders 4, in one and the same movement cycle, the container is released from a feed apparatus 19 by displacing it within a limited movement range, lowers a number of ground supports 5, locks them in position, lifts the container to a tipping and emptying position when the container's cover 3 opens under its own weight during the emptying operation. Then the container resumes its original position, the ground supports are raised and the container is reconnected to the feed apparatus. <IMAGE> |
