<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of detection sensitivity outside a detecting section, by varying a magnetic flux within a detection element with a conductor and a detection element fixed. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 4 through which current to be detected flows is supported on a resin holder 21 and a pair of detection elements 1 and 2 are inserted into holding holes 22 and 23 within the holder 21 so as to be arranged vertical to the conductor 4 separately. As two holding holes are arranged parallel to the conductor 4, distance between the detection elements 1 and 2 and the conductor 4 is kept equal constantly. The detection elements 1 and 2 are so arranged that the direction of magnetic fields by excitation currents to respective windings 10 and 11 thereof is the same as to tat of a magnetic field produced by a current to be detected with one detection element and opposite to that with the other detection element. The holder 21 is covered with a sheet 24 comprising a second ferromagnetic material in three ways to make a detecting section 20. A magnetic resistance of a magnetic circuit in the perimeter of a conductor 4 is varied with the way of covering with the sheet 24. This causes a change in a magnetic flux passing through the detection elements 1 and 2, thereby enabling the changing of detection sensitivity of current flowing through the conductor 4.</p> |
