<p>PURPOSE:To accurately detect the tail end position of a stock to be rolled by introducing the passing timing of the tail end based on a passing pattern of each rolling roll at the passing timing of the top end of the stock to be rolled. CONSTITUTION:Each timing when the top end of the stock 1 to be rolled is passed through each rolling roll 2-1-2-n is successively detected by relays 4-1-4-n as usual.
