PURPOSE:To obtain a plotted drawing having high quality by providing a mechanism for preventing the electric discharge of an electrostatic charge image to the developing part of an electrostatic recording type plotter. CONSTITUTION:Electric charge is charged on electrostatic recording paper 1 by a head 2 according to the information on a plot pattern at the time when said paper passes above a recording head 2. The recording paper is then immersed in a toner developing soln. 5 in a tank 4 sprayed from a pipe 6a for circulation at the time of passing the developing part 3 and is thereby developed, by which the toner is stuck to the charged electrostatic charge image of the recording paper 1. The developing part 3 descends automatically and parts from the recording paper 1 by actuation of a mechanism 7 when the state of waiting the information from a computer is attained and the outputting of the plotted drawing stops. Since the contact of the metallic parts with the charge region is thereby prevented, the discharge is prevented. The sticking property of the toner is, therefore not fluctuated regardless of whether the output is transiently stopped or not. The plotted drawing having no unequal concns. and recording defects is thus obtd. |
