PURPOSE:To improve reliability of a sheet of paper receiving device by monitoring the length of the sheet of paper with a sensor before the sheet of paper is received in a receiving box. CONSTITUTION:Sensors 11A, 12A detect not only the presence of sheets of paper, but also passing time of sheet of paper to be conveyed, speed of conveyer belts 13A, 14A and the length of the sheet of paper, while the conveyer belts 13A, 14A are constituted to be reversible. The sheets of paper are conveyed one by one by the conveyer belts 13A, 14A and accumulated sequentially on a temporary stacker 18 having a holding plate 17, while the passage time of the sheet of paper conveyed is measured by the sensor 11A and the length of the sheet of paper is obtained from such measurement and conveying speed of detect the sheet of paper except that of specified length such as folio. And after the completion of receiving the sheets of paper, the conveyer belts 13A, 14A are reversed to detect the omission of the reception. |
