PURPOSE: To obtain the compsn. adequate for prevention, etc., of the apoplectic state and thromboembolism state of the cardiovascular system by compounding selenium-contg. algae, unsatd. fatty acid (deriv.) having two or more of double bonds, antioxidant, etc. CONSTITUTION: The desired compsn. is obtd. by compounding (A) 0.5 to 50wt.% selenium-contg. algae formed by culturing algae, such as chlorella, with a medium added with, for example, sodium selenite, (B) 99.5 to 50wt.% ω-3 position unsatd. fatty acid (deriv.) (e.g. eicosapentaenoic acid, etc.) which is obtd. from liver oil of mackerels, cod fishes, etc., and has >=2 pieces of the double bonds and (C) the antioxidant (e.g. glutathion, etc.). |
