PURPOSE:To shorten a waiting time by fully lighting a fluorescent lamp by twining on a power source, directly detecting the light quantity when it reaches a value set according to an exposure variable register by a photodetector, and outputting a copying OK signal. CONSTITUTION:The fluorescent lamp 3 is fully lighted by turning on the power source. The light quantity of the fluorescent lamp is detected by an optical sensor 34 and feeds back to a main body control part 27. The light quantity corresponding to the exposure volume set at present is computed and, when a feedback light quantity value reaches the set light quantity, copying OK indication lights. Then, by pushing down a printing switch, a paper supply system, an optical system, the part concerning a photosensitive body and a paper discharging system etc., are processed, and copying is completed. Since a temperature control means is not necessitated in such a constitution, the exposure illuminator of a copying machine can be constituted at low cost, and the waiting time for copying can be shortened. |
