PURPOSE:To bring variation of roll approximately to zero, in a zero roll hydraulic suspension for automobile, by feeding/discharging such quantity of oil as proportional to the square of vehicle speed and steering angle to/from a hydraulic cylinder or an accumulator when turing the automobile. CONSTITUTION:A rotation angle signal of a steering wheel 4 and a rotation signal of a wheel 2 are fed to a control unit 32. At the same time, position signals of pistons 25, 26 in oil quantity detection cylinders 23, 24 are fed from potentiometers 27, 28. A control unit 30 calculates quantity of oil to be fed into chambers 23a, 24a of the oil quantity detection cylinders 23, 24 based on aforementioned information, and provides a command to an oil pressure unit 30. The oil pressure unit 30 feeds/discharges predetermined quantity of oil into/ from the chambers 23a, 24a based on the command. Consequently, gas pressure in right and left accumulators 7, 8 varies thus varying characteristic. As a result, variation of roll can be brought approximately to zero. |
