PURPOSE:To hold a connective state between card-edge connector and card edge in a positive manner as well as to prevent a sudden separating accident between them from occurring by using an auxiliary elastic holder consisting of one elastic member as a mechanism which ancillarily holds the connective state between the connector and the edge. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary engaged part 25 is installed in the specified part of a card edge 4, while in recess 34 of a connector housing 30, one elastic member is solidly formed while is provided with an auxiliary elastic holder 50 where the engaged part 54 formed as corresponding to the auxiliary engaged part 25 is elastically engaged with the auxiliary engaged part 25. Consequently, since the auxiliary elastic holder 50 presses and holds the card edge 4 inside the recess 34 of the connector housing 30, any lost motion of the card edge 4 inside the recess 34 is held down. And, engaging frictional force based on resilient contact force acts on space between the auxiliary engaged part 25 and the engaged part 54 of the auxiliary elastic holder 50. With this constitution, a connecting condition is keepable so good so that a sudden separating accident is effectively prevented from occurring. |
