PURPOSE:To prevent the partial wear of the title tire by forming rib patterns on a tread using circumferencial main grooves and providing notches in parallel to each other, specific in an angle of inclination and the depth of a groove, over a given range on the both sides of the tread at a given interval in the circumferencial direction. CONSTITUTION:Ribs R1-R3 are formed on a tread 1 using main grooves G1-G4, the width of which is 5-8% of a tread width TW, while side rids R4, R5 having a width of 10-35% of the tread width TW are separately composed on the both sides of the tread 1. Furthermore, linear notches 2 extending from the main grooves G1, G2 to a tread end TE are provided in parallel at a circumferencial interval T of 3-20mm on the side rids R4, R5. In this case, the notches 2 are set for an inclination alpha if 5-25 deg. against a tire rotational axis and a groove depth thereof is set for 20-120% of the depth of the main grooves, allowing it to increase gradually toward the tread end. Also the groove width of the main grooves is set for 5-8% of the tread width TW. Hence the partial wear of the tire can be avoided. |
