PURPOSE: To set up various distortion characteristics by comparatively small circuit size by multiplying a digital signal having the power value of an input signal by a coefficient through each coefficient multiplying means and suitably setting up the coefficient. CONSTITUTION: A digital distortion adding means 6 is constituted of multiplying means 11A to 11N for calculating the power of A/D converted digital signals, a coefficient multiplying means 12A to 12N for multiplying respective power values by respective coefficients, and adding means 13 for adding these multiplied results, etc., the added result is D/A converted and an analog signal is outputted. In this case, various coefficients are previously stored in a ROM 14 and necessary coefficient a1 to an are read out by the switching of a selection switch 15 and multiplied by the means 12A to 12N to output multiplied results. Thereby even when the circuit size is small, many distortion characteristics can be optionally set up. |
