The device comprises a triac 2 controlled by an electronic feedback sub-unit 17 supplied with electrical energy by a stabilised supply 29 with energy accumulator 32 whose input is connected to the terminals 11, 12 of the triac 2. The feedback sub-unit 17 comprises two feedback chains in parallel, each producing a square output signal with modulation of width and of frequencies which differ, the signals being combined in an AND logic type device in order to control the triac. <IMAGE>
