Novel induction card and associated reader devices allowing the codifying of persons or products. It comprises a support 1 on which are deposited pellets or tags 2 of magnetic or conductive materials. The reading of the card is carried out by series of coils 25-26 with ferrite core. An electronic circuit 31 makes it possible to produce the average obtained between the presence and absence of a tag so as to detect better the presence of one of them. A differential coiling 46-48 allows better discrimination of a tag by a null method. The detection coilings can be produced according to 56 to 64, flat, in the form of printed circuit coilings. <IMAGE>
