Beacon intended to signal the presence of a utility vehicle tailgate. The invention relates to a beacon making it possible to draw attention, day and night, to the presence of a tailgate in the working position at the rear of a vehicle. It is composed of a body, of a signalling system comprising a red light and circular reflecting part 14-15 and of three systems 7 for fixing to the various tailgates.
