A venous reservoir (10) including a blood collecting chamber (12) with heat seamed peripheral edges (16, 18, 20, 22) incorporating fillet-defining beads (54) for enhanced blood flow and debubbling. Flow diverters (48) are provided vertically between lower inlet tubes (36, 38) and upper air vents (42, 44), and laterally between the inlet tubes (36, 38) and an outlet tube (50). The diverters (48) are vertically spaced and upwardly inclined toward the vent (42, 44) within the flow path of the blood between the inlet and outlet tubes (36, 38, 50) for an enhanced upward directing of entrapped air toward the vents (42, 44) and groove extensions (46) thereof within the chamber (12). |
