<p>PURPOSE:To detect stably program searching even when a long-playing tape is used, by providing a reel rotation sensor, starting to count after a constant interval of time from detecting a no-signal of a tape, and stopping the tape when a prescribed number of pulses is counted from the rotation sensor of a reel which is taken up. CONSTITUTION:When rapid traverse of a tape is started, a no-signal part is detected by a no-signal detecting circuit 6. In this case, a no-load running part of T1 is made open for an optional time. Time of this T1 is operated to compensate a difference of the number of pulses contained in the no-signal part. Simultaneously with said operation, a pulse is detected from a reel whose tape is taken up, through reel rotation sensors 7A, 7B and a sensor selecting circuit 8, it is counted by a prescribed number by a counter 9, a timing pulse is outputted, and the tape is stopped through a stop signal outputting circuit 10. As a matter of fact, the faster the tape becomes, the earlier the stop signal is outputted, but even when the stop signal is outputted, the tape itself is braked and a distance to the stop is made long, therefore, it makes a position more stable.</p> |
