The amphibious wheel with a sail according to the invention comprises a floating annular wheel 1 having a circular tread strip directed towards its centre, rolling means 20, 21 able to move along the said strip whilst being held laterally on it, a sail-carrying structure 2 mounted so as to rotate on the said rolling means 20, 21 about an axis 28 passing through a diameter of the said wheel 1, and means 11, 13 for supporting a user on the said structure. This wheel with a sail constitutes an amphibious craft which performs equally well on water and on ground of variable consistency. <IMAGE>
