A cylindrical body 1 with a threaded rod 11 has an axial slit 9 in said rod 11 and, at the base of the said slit 9, there is an axial projection or small tooth 13. A second flat body 15, provided so as to be able to slide axially into the said slit 9, has a V-shaped recess 21 on one side. A third body with a nut 25 is provided, so as to be screwed onto the rod 11 of the first threaded body 1. The cables to be joined 23 are inserted between the small tooth 13 of the first cylindrical body 1 and the V-shaped recess 21 of the flat body 15. By screwing the third body with a nut 25 onto the rod 11 of the first body 1, the small tooth 13 is clamped hard against the V-shaped recess 21 and, consequently, blocks the interposed cables to be clamped. Of course, both the first body 1 and the third body 25 are fitted with outwardly projecting fins 5 and 27 for handling the two bodies and clamping them easily against one another.
