The invention relates to a swimming flipper device of simplified design, which can be put on and taken off alternately with ease and speed, it being possible for the flipper to be adapted to several sizes. The flipper is characterised in that it includes a ribbed fin (wing piece) surmounted by a foot pocket and extended by an extension of inwardly curved shape forming a flexible heel produced with a flexible synthetic resin essentially in the plane of symmetry of the flipper and of a geometry capable of covering the heel of the user's foot after the latter has put the flipper on. <IMAGE>
