A distribution box with rail system protected against being touched is provided with horizontal collection rails 31-33 in the upper part of the box and vertical collection rails 51-53 connected to these, which vertical collection rails are designed to connect removable groups of apparatus 21-23. The vertical rails are protected against being touched and have two contact surfaces 56, 57 facing each other which interact with contact pins 26 on the groups of apparatus. The vertical rails are electrically insulated from the rail holders 58 attached to the box construction, which have tracks 60 open at the front for the rails. The protection against being touched consists of vertical plastic strips 63 which are arranged in front of and attached to the rail holders. The strips providing protection against being touched 63 also act as fixing devices for the vertical rails 51-53 so that these are held in place in the tracks 60 of the rail holders. The vertical rails 51-53 are supported by the horizontal rail system 31-33 and can move axially in the rail holders 58, so that they can extend freely in a longitudinal direction. The protection against being touched can in addition be provided with cover strips 66 so that a completely insulated rail system is obtained (casing class IP 40). <IMAGE> |
