This machine receives loose mineral wool, which, after deflocculating and carding, by means of a system of stationary combs and of a rotary comb, is transported by means of a fan using a hose and, at the end of travel, via a hose which is reinforced so as not to be folded. On exiting the hose, the wool is moistened with adhesive by means of a spray system (pump). In this way, the material is spread out over the support in varying thicknesses and forms an insulating blanket with neither joining nor cutting. The device consists of a combustion engine 1, a reception tank receiving the material 2, the material is reduced in volume and carded by a system of stationary combs and a rotary comb and is transported in a volume of air, so as not to be compressed at all, by means of a hose 3, 4, 5 made of polyethylene (polyane), and a pump enables the adhesive, which is in a tank 6 and 7, to be sprayed onto the material. <IMAGE>
