The invention relates to a device making it possible easily to drive motorised cultivators of 5 KW to 15 KW power. It is made up of an engine block 1 with a centrifugal clutch controlled by two synchronised gas levers 9 allowing stop or start. A direction reverser 2 receives the power from the motor and transmits it in one direction or the other to a belt-type differential 3 controlled manually by a steering shaft 15. The latter causes the speeds of the output shafts to vary (inverse variation), which speeds are intended for two gearboxes 4, rotationally independent with respect to one another; they transmit their power, by means of a gear and chain-type reduction gear, to two shafts for supporting agricultural wheels 18, which shafts are independent of each other rotationally. The differences in speed of the agricultural wheels provide the steering. A plough with two opposed symmetrical ploughshares, a transport apparatus with guiding wheels, and equipment using caterpillar tracks, are designed to be fitted to the device. <IMAGE>
