A music synthesizer adjunct (11) including in one embodiment a pivotable and horizontally slidable bar (17) mounted in front of the keyboard of the synthesizer (12) and parallel thereto whereby the wrist of a player may pivot or slide the bar (17). Actuating means (32) is provided which responds to either one of the motions of the bar to produce electric signals as inputs to the music synthesizer (12). In another embodiment, one or more additional slidable bars (16A, 16B, 16C) are positioned further away from the synthesizer (12) and parallel to the first bar (17). But, these bars move only to and fro. Again actuating means (41) is provided which responds to the motion of the bar (17) to provide variable position dependent analog signals as inputs to a synthesizer (12). |
