<p>A sulfur-containing polyarylene resin and a process for its production are disclosed. The crosslinked polyarylene resin is a polyarylene resin containing sulfur atoms in the main chain, which has a degree of crosslinking of the aryl groups of 5 % or more and a high heat resistance. The process comprises heating a sulfur-containing polyarylene resin in contact with at least one metal compound selected from among iron, chromium and cobalt compounds.</p> |
