Two containers (10, 20) standing one behind the other are mutually coupled and locked simultaneously on a common twistlock (30) by an interlock plate (30) comprising a central locking section (34) with a recess (35) and two lateral hook sections (37, 47). In the locked position, in which the interlock plate (33) is parallel to one loading surface which carries the containers (10, 20), the twistlock (30) engages in the recess (35), and the hook sections (37, 47) engage with the spacing elements (12A, 22A) provided for this purpose on the two containers (10, 20). In a vertical position offset by 90 DEG to the locking position, the interlock plate (33) can be retracted along a lower frame element (16) of at least one of the containers (10, 20). |
