<p>A pigment dispersant comprises a product obtained by reacting an amine compound (component A) having one or more active hydrogen atoms per molecule and a weight-average molecular weight of 60 to 30,000 with one or more of compounds (component B) represented by general formulae (I), (II) and (III), wherein R1 represents a C1-20 alkyl group or an aromatic monocarboxylic acid residue, R2 represents a phenyl group, a C5-19 alkyl group, α (wherein R6 represents a C3-17 alkyl group or an aromatic group) or -CH2-O-R7 (wherein R7 represents a C4-18 alkyl group or an aromatic group), R3 represents a C2-6 acid anhydride residue, R4 represents a C1-7 alkylene group, R5 represents a C1-18 saturated aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic monohydric alcohol residue, X represents a C6-20 saturated aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic diisocyanate residue, n, $(1,3)$ and p each represents an integer of 1 to 200, and m represents an integer of 0 to 100, wherein 0 « m/n, m/$(1,3)$, m/p « 0.5. Another pigment dispersant comprises a product obtained by reacting the above-described product with component C comprising a polyisocyanate compound having 2 or more isocyanato groups.</p> |
