A level gauge for liquid, particularly for lubricating oil for machine elements in vehicles such as automatic gear boxes and oil sumps in internal combustion engines, comprises a gauge rod (1) immersed in the liquid. The gauge rod (1) is provided with a temperature-indicating arrangement (7, 8, 17-20) indicating at least two temperature intervals, and gauge scales (9, 10, 13) corresponding to each temperature interval. The purpose of the arrangement is to overcome the problems with reading-off the gauge rod (1) on a wrong scale. |
