Rubber mixture for tyre treads

The invention relates to a rubber mixture for treads of heavy-duty pneumatic tyres for vehicles, in particular racing tyres for motorcycles, based on one or more diene rubbers. In order to achieve highest possible dry adhesion with the mixture and to maintain this for the longest possible time, it is proposed that, after the vulcanisation, the loss elasticity C>> - measured by the Roelig method - at at least one point in the temperature range from 60 to 110@C is greater than 0.09 mm<2>/N and that the rubber mixture additionally contains a polymer which exerts a stabilising action against chemical degradation of the tread at high temperatures.
