The invention relates to a wall tile having a rectangular or square cross-section. In order that different supplementary devices can be fitted thereon and removed therefrom once again without fastening bores, the invention provides that, between mutually opposite edges, at least one continuous plug-in receiving means is provided in the front side and/or at least one continuous plug-in web is moulded on the front side, such that it projects therefrom.
