Plug socket box

The plug socket box has an elongated plastic housing which is formed from a base cover (1) and an upper part (2) (which is detachably connected thereto and is in the form of a cap) and in which at least one plug socket (3), one plug connector (4) (which is electrically connected thereto and is arranged in one longitudinal end of the housing) and at least one communication insert (5) are arranged. The plug socket (3) and the communication insert (5) are surrounded on the access side by a covering frame (6) which is held detachably on the upper part (2). The mains current region (7), which accommodates the plug socket (3) or plug sockets (3) and the plug connector (4), of the housing (1, 2) is electrically screened from that housing region (8) which accommodates the communication insert or inserts (5) by a partition part (9) which is inserted detachably into the housing (1, 2), is fixed in position therein and is made of insulating material.
