PURPOSE:To provide an automatic bar material feeder for small-diameter and long bundle round bar material, in which undone bar materials are placed on a belt extended to be U-shaped, and the belt is rolled up to separate and feed the bar materials by utilizing a rest angle of the bar material, the dead load of the bar material and the frictional force of the belt. CONSTITUTION:Bundles long bar materials are undone on a U-shaped belt 9. One end of the belt 9 is rolled up by a belt roll-up drum 8, so that the bundle of the bar materials is formed as indicated by a broken line 26, to produce a rest angle on the top thereof. When the external line is like 26', a few bar materials easy to roll on the top portion are rolled down by its dead weight. The long bar material is stacked on a separating cradle 13 by the transportation of the belt 9 on a belt holding sheath 3. Subsequently, the belt roll-up drum 8 is reversed to roll-down the belt 9, thereby promoting the separation of the bar materials. By repeating such operation, the bar materials are completely separated to be fed little by little. Thus, the bar materials can be supplied automatically. |
