The invention relates to an ink-jet printing head for a continuously operating ink-jet printer. The aim of the invention was to design the printing head in such a manner that the printing head is freely accessible in the nozzle region for maintenance work and automatically running function-maintaining procedures. According to the invention, the aim is achieved by the assemblies, which are situated in front of a separating plane (behind the drop outlet surface in the direction of the recording medium), being arranged movably parallel to the recording medium. <IMAGE>
