A spectacle hinge (1) with two holders (4 and 9) which have an interspace (10) between them, and a connecting part (7) which bridges this interspace in the position of use, has first of all a web (18) which connects the two spaced holders (4 and 9) and is fastened in this connected form on the spectacle bow (8) and its extension (2) in the direction of the spectacle rim before the spectacle bow is separated from this extension. A simultaneous separation of the spectacle bow from its extension and of the two holders (4 and 9) from each other is then carried out, after which the connecting part can be inserted into the two holders. This results in a precise and rapid fastening of the whole spectacle hinge. <IMAGE>
