A chassis frame 1 for vehicles comprises two side beams 2,3 which are interconnected by transverse connection elements 4. An internal combustion engine 20 and a radiator 21 in its cooling system are arranged in the frame 1 so that the engine's 20 radiator fan 25 is situated between the side beams 2,3 in front of or behind the connection element 4.
