<p>A detector for oils, oil fractions, oil derivatives and their gaseous phases, with which their presence, even on water, can be detected and with which the composition of oil mixtures can be determined, has a sensor consisting of a stretched polyethylene film, which expands in the presence of the above-mentioned fluids and contracts to its original size after their removal by elutriation. These movements are recorded by a transducer and processed in a measurement sequence.</p> |
