<p>In a device (1) and a process for manufacturing roof covering boards having a transverse flange integrally formed by extrusion, recesses in the lower mould cavities (7, 7') corresponding to the flange are first filled with a hardenable plastic material in a charging station, the plastic material is then condensed in at least one condensing station (40, 60, 70), and a continuous coat of the material is applied in a coating station (78).
